Laura VOA
Laura graduated from Granville Business College in 2011. She has been with WKE since 2012. Having both the pet and their people have the best experience possible while at our clinic is what she strives for daily. She lives with her boyfriend and two cats (Ms Jiggers and Mr P!). She is passionate about cooking, nutrition, getting outdoors. and spending time with family and friends.
Bree RVT
Bree joined our team in 2021. She graduated from Douglas College Veterinary Technology Program 2021 and is currently studying for the VTNE to become a registered veterinary technician. Bree lived her whole life in Vancouver and enjoys reading, ice skating, and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is getting to follow cases and being able to see the incredible outcomes that it makes in the patients’ lives as well as getting the opportunity to continue learning throughout my career.
Lindsay VOA
Lindsay joined our team in the summer of 2018. She graduated from the Douglas Veterinary Office Assistant Program (VOA) in 2017. Her favourite part of veterinary medicine is getting to watch a pet grow with their family. In her spare time, she likes horseback riding, camping, art, and playing video games. Lindsay grew up in Richmond, BC, and currently lives in Surrey, BC with her two dogs (Oliver and Kuper), and two cats (Jax and Bellatrix).
Kirsten RVT
Kirsten joined our team in 2016. She graduated from the Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC, in 2002. Kirsten's favourite part of veterinary medicine is knowing that what hse is doing is helping both pets and their owners. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking/paddleboarding, camping, crafting, reading, and travelling. She has lived in places all across BC: Kelowna, Pender Harbour, and currently resides in Port Coquitlam with her husband, two teenage children, and 3 cats: Cariboo, Moose, and Kodiak
Jenn RVT
Jenn graduated from Douglas College in 2010 and joined the team at WKE in June 2011. She moved back to her hometown of Sherwood Park, Alberta in 2015 for family reasons, before the call of the we(s)t coast called her back. Jenn returned to WKE in February 2018 and currently resides in New Westminster with her 3 cats. In her spare time she loves camping, baking and gardening.
Holly VOA
Holly recently joined the WKE team in 2020 after finishing her veterinary technician assistant course at Granville College. She strives to create a welcoming and calm environment for both client and patients, especially our anxious ones. She has now happily become the retirement home for our former clinic cat Hugo. In her free time, Holly loves travelling to Bowen island with Hugo, bike riding and spending time outdoors with family.
